More Of The Same
January 28th, 2010Doing the same thing and expecting a different result…Obamanomics has failed and will fail again. Government doesn’t create wealth, and promises to keep unemployment below 8% (now sustained at over 10%) by committing $787 billion in government spending (now, ballooned to $850 billion) have produced very little ‘bang for the buck’. Proposals for a second “stimulus” bill are based in fantasy, not sound economic thought. “More Of The Same” is available in my Politix web shop at Zazzle.
Generational Theft
January 15th, 2010Limited government is a ‘first principle’ of the American experience, establishing as the threshold for governance a minimally invasive role and thereby conferring greater liberties upon the individual citizen. From a contrarian perspective, President Obama has sought to bolster government unlike at any time in history, borrowing money without discipline from future generations to fund said growth of the public sector. As a result of such wanton expansion, generations of Americans yet to come have been burdened with a financial debt sure to encroach upon their collective capacity to enjoy the level of prosperity observed today. Power corrupts and greed accelerates the misguided appropriation of taxpayer dollars, more so today than at any other time in the history of our great country. In clear disregard for history, the idea that a big-government economic ideology opposed to free market prosperity could create a sustainable recovery is shear lunacy – as is any discussion of a second “stimulus” bill. Government doesn’t create wealth. Obama is pushing a socialist agenda, spending money we don’t have and burdening future generations in order to grow government in the present, and seeks to enslave our nation by increasing the dependency of her citizens.

My Other Car Is A Clunker
August 20th, 2009Today I added “My Other Car Is A Clunker” to my Power To The People gallery at Zazzle. While the “cash for clunkers” program has been hailed by some as a success, many faults contest such acclaim. Why should Americans continue to bail out the automotive industry? The program is wasteful, as salvaged car engines are still valuable yet are needlessly destroyed – we shouldn’t be paying people to destroy productive capital. Such cars bypass the part recyclers and go straight to the salvage yards, while dollars are being driven by a powerful corn lobby espousing the mantle of renewable fuels and energy independence, into inefficient ethanol based “green” manufacturing aspirations. Participants buying cars through this program are simply adjusting their purchasing schedules, and will not be in the market, subsequently, for an extended period of time. Meanwhile, many dealerships are having to wait for government reimbursement.
No He Can’t
August 11th, 2009Today I added “No He Can’t” to my Politix gallery at Zazzle. Barack Hussein Obama has side-stepped the US Constitution from the moment he took office. In his greed to amass never before heard of power for the executive branch, he has hired a series of unelected and unaccountable “czars” to usurp what was formerly the dominion of congress. To facilitate a further demise of individual American liberties, the POTUS now seeks to initiate a massive government-run health care bureaucracy. Such a takeover is highly unnecessary and very destructive, yet Obama is prepared to force it upon our country – if he can.
